We have been proud to provide an excellent service to our patients during the pandemic, and have tried to be as accessible as possible with the pressures of covid-19.  Over recent months however there has been a marked increase in demand.

To aid us manage demand, and ensure that our patients are helped as quickly and effectively as possible, patients are being asked to telephone in at specific times:

Acute medical problems, or anything you feel you need to consult a doctor or nurse practitioner for: please call early in the morning.  We will be offering a telephone consulting -service system every morning, with adequate slots to cover demand.  Once these slots are full, you will be asked to call the following working day if your problem does not require urgent immediate treatment.  The receptionist will ask you the nature of your problem to help triage your problem to the appropriate clinician – please give this information as it lets us help you quicker.

In event of a medical emergency continue to call 999.

Home visits: please call early in the morning.

Results / sick line requests / administrative requests: please call between 2pm – 5pm.

Medication requests: via the form on this website or your pharmacy.  Due to demand we are sorry we cannot accept these over the telephone.
